Over the past year, tire pressure in my L Front tire was abnormally lower than the other tires. 180 kpa, while the others were 210+ kpa.
It was an odd sign.
I realized that this is due to uneven weight distribution when 90% of my miles are driven with only me in the car.
On the surface it appears that all 4 tires bear weight equally. The most burdened tire provides enough resistance when compressed.
In essence the car runs well and works.
Inefficiently. Not a big deal. I certainly did not care for a long stretch of time. It’s very weird to go spent quarters at a gas station just to fill up one tire.
So i told myself. At the same time it always bothered me. Slightly. Cognitive dissonance?
Not until the lower pressure indicator came on I decided to refill the tire.
The 4 tires can mean different things, that are vital pillars to the our lives functioning.
Physical health, emotional wellbeing, community and materilistic needs?
In my book physical health and emotional wellbeing are intertwined.
Let’s call it health, family life, community and materialistic needs.
We can lean heavily on the community when we do not have family.
Or vice versa.
Overtime, there likely is wear and tear.
A social system in a budget deficit when there is disproportionate underserved needs.
Conflict with in-laws / parents when they are heavily involved with raising their grandchildren.
An injection of fresh air is needed.
Perhaps the final learning point is that materialistic needs are the easiest to replace with $.
Personal health, family and community take time to build. Cannot easily be resurrected.
Therefore it’s important to get that tire rotation. Monitor if one pillar of your life is getting over burdened, even if slightly, over time there will be low tire pressure.
